Michael Bostelmann

Consultant

Michael was a partner of the firm since 1973, when he was initially a general practice partner undertaking audit, accountancy, tax and trust work. However, as the years have rolled on he has gravitated much more to business and commercial consultancy, advising on structures, business acquisitions and commercial activity generally. He is a director of a number of trading companies operating in the UK and overseas.  He has been involved at the start in the creation of many new businesses and has seen many of these grow impressively.

Michael is also a trustee for several substantial family trusts. He was an early member of the then fledgling Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) in which he is still a member.

Leisure

For over 40 years Michael has been a keen runner, though now a somewhat pedestrian one. In the past he has completed several marathons and the notorious 3 Peaks Race on five ocassions. Most outdoor activities interest him including walking, gardening and, more recently, golf.

He is the Treasurer of The Royal Commonwealth Society and currently the President of Thames Hare & Hounds (apparently the world’s oldest running club).
