At Arnold Hill & Co LLP, we’re proud to be part of something bigger than business.
This year, we joined the inaugural Class of 2025 as one of the founding supporters of the Ealing Trailfinders Foundation First XV - a powerful initiative shaping the future of rugby and transforming lives far beyond the pitch.
While we’re proud sponsors of the Ealing Trailfinders Women’s Team, our support now goes even deeper. Through our involvement in the First XV initiative, we’re backing a long-term vision that develops talented young players both as elite athletes and well-rounded individuals.
What is the “First XV” Initiative?
More than just a funding model, the First XV is a legacy project powered by the Ealing Trailfinders Foundation. It creates a comprehensive development pathway that helps young players transition from university scholarships and academy programs into the Ealing Trailfinders 1st XV squad.
This initiative is delivered in partnership with Brunel University, blending full-time professional rugby training with academic achievement. Players receive:
By the time they graduate, many are ready to sign professional contracts - with a degree and a future.
Why We Got Involved
The Foundation’s work reflects values we hold close: empowerment, education, and community impact. It’s not about branding or traditional sponsorship. It’s about investing in people, unlocking potential, and helping build something meaningful.
The vital funding gives the Foundation flexibility to grow, adapt, and scale successful projects - including their work around health, inclusion, skills, and innovation.
We’re honoured to stand alongside a small group of likeminded businesses helping to launch this vision and are excited for what the future holds for the Foundation and those it benefits.
Congratulations to Ian Isham, Trisha Stewart and the entire team at the Ealing Trailfinders Foundation for launching this inspiring initiative. We’re excited to be on the journey with you - and proud to help shape the next generation of rugby talent and community leaders.
Here’s to the trailblazers. Here’s to the First XV.
