Celebrating 125 Years of Arnold Hill

2026 marks an incredible milestone for us at Arnold Hill as we celebrate 125 years in business.

For 125 years, we have helped clients navigate change, seize opportunities and plan for the future, and today, that role is more important than ever.

Founded in London in 1901, we have spent more than a century helping businesses, entrepreneurs, families and investors navigate change, uncertainty and opportunity. Reaching 125 years is something very few firms achieve, and it reflects not only our longevity, but the trust our clients have placed in us over generations.

Over the last century and a quarter, we have seen and adapted to enormous change. We have supported clients through world wars, economic crises, changing governments, the rise of global markets and the digital transformation of business itself. From handwritten ledgers and paper records to cloud accounting and real-time reporting, both our profession and our clients’ needs have evolved dramatically.

And so have we.

What began as a traditional accountancy practice in Edwardian London has grown into a modern advisory firm supporting clients across audit, tax, corporate finance, outsourced finance, fund accounting, ESG advisory and specialist innovation tax services. Along the way, we have expanded our expertise, embraced new technology and continued to evolve alongside the businesses we advise.

Our own journey through London tells part of that story too.

Over the decades, we have grown and moved with the changing face of the city. From our earlier offices in Clement’s Inn, to Northumberland Avenue, and to our current home at Capital Tower in Waterloo, where we continue to advise a diverse range of clients across the UK and internationally.

While the world around us has transformed, some things have remained unchanged.

Relationships, trust and personal service have always been at the heart of what we do. Many of our client relationships span decades and in some cases generations, which is something we are incredibly proud of. For us, great advice has never just been about numbers. It is about understanding people, businesses and ambitions over the long term.

As our Managing Partner, Justin Moore, puts it:

Reaching 125 years is an incredible achievement and one we are hugely proud of. But what matters most to us is the relationships we have built over that time with our clients, our people and our wider network.

We have evolved continuously as a firm, from traditional accountancy services to becoming trusted advisers and an extension of our clients’ finance teams. While the profession has changed enormously since 1901, our commitment to personal service, long-term thinking and helping clients succeed has remained constant.

We are proud of our history, but we are equally excited about the future and the opportunities ahead for both our firm and our clients.”

Our people have always been central to that journey. From partners and trainees to the wider team supporting the firm behind the scenes, every generation has helped shape who we are today. We continue to invest heavily in developing future talent through our longstanding ICAEW, ACCA and CFA training programmes, while building a culture centred around collaboration, adaptability and entrepreneurial thinking.

As we look ahead, we know the next chapter for businesses will bring new opportunities and challenges from artificial intelligence and evolving tax legislation to sustainability, international growth and increasingly complex regulation.

Just as we have done for the last 125 years, we will continue evolving to help our clients navigate what comes next.

While we are incredibly proud of our history, this milestone is ultimately about more than looking back. It is about celebrating the relationships, people and partnerships that have shaped our journey so far and looking ahead to the future with ambition and confidence.

To our clients, colleagues and partners, thank you for being part of our story.

Here’s to the next 125 years.
